Following the tradition of Baynes and countless interpreters of the original texts, I've written commentaries which borrow words and inspiration from a multitude of sources; Bob Dylan, Lao Tzu, Doctor Who, the Tarot, T.S. Eliot, King Kong, John Lennon, Thomas Pynchon, Emily Dickinson, Joseph Campbell, the Grateful Dead and Martin Luther King all make cameo appearances. The language, unlike so many translations, makes every attempt to be gender-neutral where it isn't gender-specific.
I wanted the sparest interface possible. No fake parchment backgrounds, no gimmicky images of bamboo or cartoon sages with oracles and winning lottery numbers.
The software engine emulates precisely the ancient yarrow stalk method, which was slightly more likely to cast yang than yin. A changing yin line is very rare using stalks, but of equal probability to changing yang using coins.
I hope you enjoy using this I-Ching app as much as I enjoy crafting it, improving it, and hearing from people who have found it helpful in their lives. It's been in constant development since 1989, when it was released on Compuserve and via floppy disk.

Thanks Andrei and Daniel for noting that the Confirm Delete? Dialogue was deleting whether you confirmed or not. Whoops! Apologies for that.
Grigori and Andrei both called my attention to a problem with commas in questions, which changed the reading and rendered some journal links inoperable. The app now traps commas in the question and renders them as an em dash.

Changes: Fixed an issue on smaller devices at large font sizes which pushed the journal entry icon off screen.
Figured out how to restore text-select ability for copy-paste from readings. I disabled this inadvertently when introducing the swipe feature. (Thanks to user Andrei for calling these two issues to my attention!)
Added a button to the settings menu to select the original Chinese text as your reading library.
